CHICO — On Friday around 12:30 p.m., lockdowns were implemented at Chico High School, Emma Wilson Elementary School, and Citrus Elementary School.
Officers began searching the 1000 block of Cedar Street after receiving the report at 12:24 p.m., according to Kelly DeLeon, public information officer for the Chico Police Department.
As of 1:50 p.m., the schools were still on lockdown, but no gunshot victims had been found. The investigation is still going on.
