Lavon, TX – Alison Pickering, a student at Tarleton State University, passed very suddenly. She was pronounced deceased on May 12, 2023, a Friday. When she passed away, her friends, family, and other loved ones were devastated, and they will never forget her. Both those who had the privilege of knowing her and those who did not will sadly miss her.
Tarleton State University was where Alison Pickering attended classes. Wylie Preparatory Academy was where he attended. In Lavon, Texas, Jamie was born and reared. She left a legacy of kindness, happiness, and love that will live on and be cherished by those she inspired. Her organ donation helped save 12 lives.

According to Kerri Johnson Fuller, Allison Pickering has a lovely soul. She loved Jesus so much and had such a servant’s heart. She developed a desire for helping those with special needs from a young age. She gave back to this community on a regular basis. She did so much for our Luke, and we will always be grateful.
Visitation will be in the Heights Chapel Thursday, May 18 from 5-7 pm. Service will be Friday, May 19 at 1 pm in The Heights Chapel. 201 W Renner Rd, Richardson, TX 75080.
