Authorities searching for suspects who ran into woods after fatal shooting in Lewisville

After a tragic shooting on Saturday night, two suspects escaped into a wooded area. Lewisville police are looking for them. On S. Edmonds Lane in Central Park, a shooting occurred around 6:30 p.m.

After hearing the shots, an officer who was nearby responded. A firearm was discovered nearby, and a male had been found shot in the head. He was identified as dead.

Three suspects fled into a neighboring wooded area, according to witnesses who called the police. One of them was captured by police, while the other two were not.

Carrollton PD K9 and DPS Air One are assisting in the hunt for the other two suspects. No other information has been made public as police continue their inquiry.
