Karen Eisenbach a senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Voya Retirement, part of Voya Financial, Inc. unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Karen Eisenbach was a capable, creative leader who held responsibility for P&L and had a wealth of experience in marketing, sales, product management, and strategic planning. The cause of her death is currently unknown.

Eisenbach was a member of the company’s Enterprise Leadership Team, collaborating on the execution of Voya’s strategy. She was also a member of the boards of directors for the Greatest Hartford Arts Council and Creative Spirit, a non-profit devoted to creating integrated employment opportunities at the best companies in the world for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Eisenbach brings to the position more than 25 years of experience in marketing, sales, product management, and strategic planning. At J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where she most recently served as executive director of Retirement Marketing, she was instrumental in the creation and introduction of a retirement program for small- and medium-sized corporate plan sponsors. She formerly held executive positions with Nationwide Financial and National City Bank and had her own consulting firm. The Ohio State University awarded Eisenbach a business administration degree.
