Tuesday’s tragic shooting in Needville, Texas, resulted in a significant police presence there. At at 10:23 a.m., Simon’s Burger Grill & More received a gunfire report from a Valero corner store on State Highway 36, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
The Needville Police Department verified one individual had been shot at the establishment in an evening update.
The unidentified victim was taken to the hospital, where they later passed away.
Police say they are still looking into the shooting’s motivation.
