Tre Thomas identified as the victim who died in Dayton, Ohio accident

Authorities have identified Tre Thomas, a resident of Middletown, Ohio as the person who was killed in a fatal accident in Ohio yesterday night, Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Thomas succumbed to the injuries sustained as a result of a collision in the tragic incident. The circumstance behind the incident is yet to be known.

Caleb Miller announced Tre Thomas’s death on Wednesday, “You will be missed my brother Tre Thomas. You were one of the greats! I’m at a loss for words,” he said.

Tre Thomas is a longtime resident of Middletown, Ohio, he went to Middletown High School. Tre studied at the University of Northwestern Ohio,  a private university in Lima, Ohio. Founded in 1920, it has approximately 4,500 students pursuing degrees in various fields. The University is approved by the Ohio Department of Education and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

However, family, friends and loved ones have paid tributes to Tre Thomas across social media platforms;

Vanessa Guy, Tre’s cousin wrote, “Not my cousin Tre Thomas.. this ain’t right. Rest in heaven cousin. Here today gone tomorrow. Please live your life because we are never promised the next day. Praying for our family and his son.”

Spencer Schmidt said, “Hold your friends and loved ones a little closer today everyone. We lost a good one last night. Tre Thomas left us too early last night. Being a father myself my heart breaks for little Miles knowing you aren’t gonna be around and teach him everything. I’m sorry Ashley. We love you guys. I still remember a few months back hanging out in Caleb’s trailer and you playing around with Paxton. This isn’t fair.”

Taylor Jones wrote, “I’m literally speechless and this one hits very hard. RIP Tre Thomas 13 years wasnt long enough, you we’re supposed to grow old with us, I love you brother and watch over us. You were a real one taking WAY tooo soon. This sucks…..”

Following a two-vehicle collision on Friday, two individuals are dead and three others, including two children, are in the hospital. Around 9 o’clock in the evening, police were called to the crash on U.S. 20 west of Toledo in Fulton County.

Adon Glass, 20, of Morenci, Michigan, was traveling west in his Volkswagen hatchback, according to the police, while Cara Charland, 32, of Toledo, was traveling east in a Chrysler.

Police reported that two youngsters and 37-year-old Robert Thomas Jr. were among Charland’s passengers. The Chrysler was flipped off the road as a result of the collision, where it caught fire.
