Authorities have identified Eric Sackett as the resident of Rochester, New York who was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident on Thursday, June 1, 2023. Eric who was a Drywall Finisher at Statewide Construction LLC succumbed to the injuries sustained from the tragic accident. The cause of the incident is yet to be known.
Eric Sackett was born in Rochester, New York, he went to Jefferson High School. He worked as a drywall finisher at Statewide Construction LLC.

Amber Babcock, a Facebook user paid tributes to Eric, “Sadly today my family and I got more bad news. It seems like yesterday that I last saw you. Now you all are up there telling crazy stories and loving life up there. You left a hole in a lot of people’s hearts but we will be alright. The Sackett boys are back together. Kirk included. May you rest in peace uncle eric. This world is a crazy place. Watch us all down here. We all love you and miss you. Rest in peace.”
Ron Boyd wrote, “Very sad to hear today that my friend Eric Sackett passed away yesterday. I met Tracy through him 36 years ago. We were in 3/11 ACR 1985-1986.”

Deputies reported that a 73-year-old man was killed in a motorbike accident in Oswego County on Monday. At 12:37 pm, Thomas Leonard of Hannibal was traveling north in his 2019 Can-Am Spyder on County Road 7 close to Harris Hill Road in Hannibal, according to Lt. Andy Bucher, a spokesman for the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Bucher, the Spyder, a three-wheeled motorcycle, veered off the road and collided with numerous trees. He claimed that Leonard was declared dead on the spot. He stated that the crash is still under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
