Four people killed in car versus multiple motorcycle accident near Aurora, Mo.

After a Saturday afternoon collision involving several motorcycles and cars, several persons have died.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that there have been four fatalities, three critical injuries, and two moderate injuries. Between Aurora and Mount Vernon, on Highway 39, a collision took place.

Nine individuals in total, including the car’s driver and eight motorcycle riders, were engaged.

The Aurora Rural Fire Protection District reports that numerous medical helicopters were dispatched to the area.

According to the Highway Patrol, the car’s driver was detained on suspicion of intoxication.
